Occupational Health and Safety Policy

CLCS’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee is dedicated to implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Policy focused on:

  • Prevention of Accidents: Ensuring proactive measures are in place to avoid workplace accidents.
  • Reduction of Health Risks: Minimizing health risks associated with construction activities.
  • Prevention of Property Damage: Implementing strategies to protect property and equipment.

Management Initiation and Leadership

Our management team leads by example, taking an active role in developing and establishing our safety policy. This top-down approach ensures that safety is integrated into every aspect of our operations.

Regular safety audits are conducted, which include inspections, toolbox meetings, investigations, and the analysis of safety statistics. These audits help us develop general safety rules and standard safe work procedures.

We provide thorough training and orientation for all new workers, ensuring they are well-versed in our safety protocols and procedures from day one. Continuous training is also provided to keep all employees updated on the latest safety practices.

We enforce strict adherence to safety rules and procedures. Monitoring and feedback mechanisms are in place to ensure compliance and to identify areas for improvement.

Before each workday begins, a detailed risk assessment is conducted to identify potential hazards. Planned procedures are then established to mitigate these risks and prevent accidents from occurring.
